ABOUT

Tecnosalus S.r.l. was founded in 1987 by the engineer Federico Velluto.

After having gained experience working as a salesman for products and machineries related to the clinical world he decides to build his own company to be able to offer a better and more complete service to his customers.

Since then Tecnosalus became the leading healthcare sales company in Rome.

Tecnosalus operates mainly in the metropolitan area of Rome and Lazio Region.

Through the years the company evolved and refined both it’s portfolio and its capabilities, specializing in delivering “turnkey” operating room systems.

Tecnosalus designed many of the best operating rooms by providing technologically advanced solutions, both for specialistics and general purpose operating rooms, in the main hospitals in Rome.

Tecnosalus can deliver a fully equipped operating room (surgical tables, shadowless lamps, wall units, monitoring systems, cameras, anesthetic workstations, etc.) and additionally, the steel coating and all the needed sanitary furnishing.

During these years we understood that it is vital to offer a complete service to our customers. We don’t just take care of the sale and installation, but, having an inhouse equipe of technicians, we manage to solve any further need the customers might have, pre or post-sale, taking care of the maintenance of every product.

Furthermore, in order to ensure that our provided machineries and medical devices are not misused or used under their capabilities, we make sure to hold training programmes for the hospital personnel right after the installation of such devices.

Years of experience and an extensive knowledge of the territory makes a difference.

PEOPLE

During the last 30 years the company undertook various changes, both of portfolio – to accomodate different needs of the market – and personnel – to better adapt to different conditions.

Our staff is composed as follows: Federico Velluto as the CEO and main salesman, helped by one or two more salesman (usually clinical engineers/healthcare products experts), depending on the needs.

One head technician, helped by two expert workers.

One person in charge of public tenders.

One person in the financial department.

We are now able to provide a complete range of machineries, devices and furnishing material thanks to our collaboration with different companies.

For 15 years we’ve been exclusive distributors for Maquet/Getinge group in central Italy.

We then decided to partner with Mindray to be able to provide a wider range of products, like their line for Patient Monitoring and Life Support.

We cooperate with Berman S.r.l for ceiling pendants and bedhead units.

We then collaborate for specific projects with different industrial stakeholders, to be able to offer always the best quality products and to satisfy the specific requests of those doctors that will use such devices.

SOLUTION

During the years of activity of Tecnosalus S.r.l. we had the opportunity to be part of exceptional projects with the main Hospitals and specialistic departments of central Italy.

We’re very proud to add such projects
to our portfolio. We mention hereafter some of the most important ones.

Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli:

In 2001 we provided devices, machineries and furnishing for 25
different operating rooms.

Azienda Ospedaliera San Giovanni Addolorata:

In 2005 we built and furnished with all the required clinical
equipment 19 different operating rooms.

Azienda Ospedaliera Sant’Andrea:

We participated in designing and building some of the operating rooms.
Since its construction we provided Sant’Andrea with 9,3 million worth of medical equipment.

A.S.L Rieti:

in 2007 we delivered 9 full turnkey operating rooms.

Policlinico Umberto I:

In 2018 we had the opportunity to supply and install all the equipments for 5
operating rooms specialized for endoscopy.

Azienda Ospedaliera San Camillo Forlanini:

In 2018 we supplied a complete system of patient monitoring devices and bedhead units for the Neurological Intensive Care.

Official Mindray distributors

We’re official Mindray distributors for Roma and Lazio region. We are in charge of the PMLS line
(monitors/defibrillators/ventilators etc) and Surgical line (Operating tables and scialytic lamps).
